Grasslands Studies Two Mechanical Control Methods - page 5
"The overall goal of the study was to find the best way to remove tamarisk and minimize the use of chemical herbicides to treat re-growth."- Jawz extracted the tamarisk plant by pulling it up out of the ground and severing the main tap root.
- Several observations were made that will assist land managers in future tamarisk control.
- The pulling operator on this project felt that the Jawz was more efficient than the cutting saw.
